I wanted my daughter to understand the power and importance of her inner and outer beauty.

empowering our daughters in their own selves is the greatest gift we can leave

What did you enjoy most about your daughter’s session?

“I loved seeing my daughters confidence grow!”

These are words I LOVE from a parent; when they get to experience the process with their son or daughter and see the immediate impact that occurs in the studio. I’m so grateful. So grateful.

One of the things I loved about meeting Katelynn was seeing how confident and assured she already was in her likes and dislikes. She was open to suggestions but had a very clear vision about how she wanted to be seen in her imagery. Strong. Friendly. HERSELF.

Asheville family photographer - empowering girls - building confidence

My intention was to meet and exceed her expectations by not only seeing her, but seeing who she is BECOMING as a young woman. One of the things about the way I photograph people is that I try to incorporate not only who they are RIGHT NOW and the place they are currently in, but I want their expression and body language to depict their history, their heart, and who they have been, are, and will be.
